A Truly Beautiful Mind Summary

Albert Einstein was bom in Ulm, Germany on March 14, 1879. As a child he showed no trace of intelligence. On the contrary, his mother, too, Albert was a freak for him, his head looked too big. Albert Einstein was regarded as a slow child, and to the concern of his parents, he began speaking after the age of two-and-a-half, and when he leaked to speak, he repeated every word twice. Pronounced it. The historian of ancient mathematics Otto Neugbauer writes that the young Albert broke his silence at the dinner table at night, saying, "The soup is too hot." Very relieved, his parents asked why he had never said a word before. Albert replied, "Because until now everything was in order."

An introvert as a child, Einstein was nicknamed 'Brother Boring' by his playmate. As a result, most of the time he used to play by himself and liked mechanical toys. Once, the headmaster of his school gave a very unfavorable report about his father, stating that he would never succeed in any profession. Nevertheless, Einstein began playing the violin at the young age of six, according to his mother's wish. Einstein was a talented amateur violinist, and he retained this skill throughout his life.

In high school, in Munich, Einstein proved to be a good student and scored well. However, he loved his independence and felt suffocated due to stem discipline and regimentation at his school. In fact, he often clashed with his teachers. Thus he left school in Munich and moved to German-speaking Switzerland to continue his studies in a liberal environment. Einstein was exceptionally intelligent in mathematics and had a keen interest in physics. After finishing school, he joined the University in Zurich because the atmosphere there was more liberal and responsive to new ideas and concepts. While studying there he fell in love with a Serbian fellow, Mileva Marie, who was equally intelligent. Einstein married Mileva in 1903, and had two sons. although,

After graduating from university in 1900, Einstein did not find a job easily. He worked as a teaching assistant and gave private lessons until he got a job as a technical assistant in a patent office in Bern in 1902. However, when he had to assess other people's inventions, Einstein was actually developing his own ideas in secret. He is said to have jokingly called his desk drawer in the "Bureau of Theoretical Physics". In 1905 he published a paper on Special Theory of Relativity and came up with the formula: E = mc2

This theory of Einstein received worldwide acclaim.

Einstein gained international fame in 1915 by publishing "General Theory of Relativity". His findings were heralded as a scientific revolution and in 1921 he was awarded the Nobel Prize for Physics. He moved to America when the Nazis came to power in 1933. Germany. Five years later, American physicists in Berlin were troubled by the discovery of nuclear fission. They feared that the discovery might enable the Nazis to build atomic bombs. Einstein wrote the US President, Franklin D. Wrote a letter to Roosevelt, which may have led to the destruction of the atomic bomb. His letter was taken very seriously by the President and the Americans secretly prepared their atomic bomb which they dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.

Einstein was shaken badly by this inhuman act. He wrote another letter to the United Nations proposing the formation of a world government, although this letter had no effect. Einstein spent his later days in politics advocating world peace and democracy. He died in 1955 at the age of 76.
