Garden Snake Poem Summary
"Muril L." Sonne ”poet observed the pattern of movement of the snake. He wrote a short poem which reflected the poet's interest and observation.
The poet talks about his observation of other living species. Here he shared his personal account of what he encountered as a child. The poet speaks of a snake. His mother shared information that not all snakes are poisonous. The child feels that he is reassuring himself what he has learned from his mother.
On seeing the snake, the poet got scared and ran away. It is a general opinion that snakes are poisonous and can harm anyone who comes in their way. Contrary to this opinion, his mother told him that garden snakes are not harmful.
They just feed on insects; Therefore it comes in search of its food. It walks in the grass here and there. His mother's lawyer convinced him to such a level that he did not get in the way of it. He gives way to Snake and lets him pass.
He convinces himself that the snake did not harm him because it was just another living organism.
