Jalebis Summary
Munna was a fifth grade student, who was going to school with four rupees out of his pocket to pay his fees. However, his teacher, Master Ghulam Mohammed, was absent that day, so fees could not be paid. Upon returning, Munna saw the jalebis who wooed her. The coins that were in his pocket also started bouncing at this point.
The coins of that day actually spoke, but they did not usually speak. It was the imagination of a child's mind and nothing else. A rupiah told Munna that jalebis are for food and money has to be spent.
Munna did not follow the advice of one rupee as he was for fees. If he spends money, he will not be able to show his face to God and his teacher. In addition, they had plenty to eat at home.
Rupa did not like Munna's thinking and started speaking loudly. The oldest Rupiah told Munna that the other coins were telling something for his good. The oldest Rupiah told Munna that he could pay his fees the next day after receiving his scholarship.
Munna finally gave in to the temptations and bought Jalebi for one rupee. Munna then ate a lot of jalebis. Also, a huge crowd of children arrived and Munna bought jalebis for everyone.
After returning home, Munna had difficulty digesting the jalebis. On going to school the next day, Munna faced another problem. He could not get a scholarship that day.
Munna then left school and started praying to God for a four-rupee arrangement. Later, Munna went near a railway track and sat under a tree. In addition, he thought about his pathetic situation.
In his desperation, Munna also prayed. Apart from this, he also read the holy book Quran. Later, when he glanced into his bag, he became depressed because he did not have four coins. He again started praying to God for four rupees.
Munna came to the decision to wear clean clothes the next day. He planned to pray to God by noon. Then news of his absence from school came to his house.
Later, Munna went thinking that the loss could be caused by God sent him four rupees. Then he realized that if God gave everything because of asking, then there would be no difference between man and bird. Also, a man learns nothing because he will get everything without any effort. This was an important lesson that Munna had learned due to this incident.
The Jalebi summary teaches us that lying can get us in trouble like even God cannot help.
