Trees Summary
SHIRLEY BAUER speaks about the benefits of trees in our lives in poetry. Trees give shelter to all living beings especially birds. Children like to play under the tree, playing on their branches like 'hide and seek' or swing. Adults have a tea party under its shadow. Trees also make kites in their branches. The trees provide delicious fruits such as apples and pears. They give us wood and inspire mothers to paint cute pictures but father complains that in autumn, they have too many leaves.
