Bringing up Kari Summary

Kari Hathi was only five months old when the writer met him. The pavilion is Kari's home and he collides with a pile of thick trees. Kari enjoys a lot of fun, he takes a bath in the river in the morning. Laying in the water for a long time and scorching with joy, Kari enjoys this activity to the fullest. After her bath, Kari goes to the forest to get some twigs for her dinner, which takes a lot of time. Then, the narrator prepares dinner for Kari.

Now, both of them have become very good friends. However, one day, Kari pushes the narrator into the stream. This is to save the drowning boy but the author does not know how to swim. Thus, Kari eventually has to go save them both. The writer catches Kari's trunk as he drives them both out and saves them.

As Kari is so young, she is still a child. He is also very infamous, so whenever he is being naughty, he checks. Over time, Kari develops a taste for bananas, so he starts stealing them. He puts it through his trunk window into the dining room and ejects the banana from the plate. Very cleverly, he takes them to his pavilion to eat peacefully without being caught. However, the narrator catches him stealing one day and gives him a good scolding. Kari learns her lesson and never steals again.

Over time, Kari learns some lessons because she is a quick learner. He learns to sit and walk. However, the most difficult task was the master call. It usually takes five years for an elephant to learn it.

However, this is the most important sign an elephant should know. It helps save the life of the master. When a master is lost, they make a strange hissing sound and the trained elephant ejects the front tree that scares other animals, including tigers, away. In this way, he makes a way out of the forest and Kari also learned this trick.
