The Book that saved the Earth Summary
The plot of the play dates back to the twentieth century. All the characters in the play are fictional characters and have strange names such as Mighty Chief Think Tank, Noodle, Captain Omega, Lieutenant Iota, Sergeant Oop, etc. Think tanks who consider themselves the wisest to decide among all Martins. To go to Earth with his team. He always thinks that because he had a big head he is the smartest and always likes to admire him. They want to know that the people of Earth (how they call them Earthlings) live. In the next scene, they were all present in a library full of books. But all of them could not understand that place.
Then the powerful think-tank tries to show up and he tells his crew that the thing is a sandwich. As Earthlings eat a lot, they must have stored them here. Then Sergeant Oup, one of the crew members, also ate a book corner to confirm the think-tank's views. But he did not like the taste, and came to the conclusion that it could be something other than food. After some time Noodle suggests to the think-tank that perhaps it is used for communication with the ears. After some time Noodle again suggests to the think-tank that it is probably for eye communication. All crew members began to open and read the book. It was a rhyme book called Mother Goose. But they are unable to understand the book.
So the think-tank, looking at this noodle, asks that the chemical department has given him vitamin pills to increase intelligence, and that they should take it all and then read the sandwich. As Oup begins to read the nursery rhyme book, they take the rhyme literally and feel the trouble. The think tank called their Martians team and said that they had gathered some information about the Earth, and that they should postpone the idea of an invasion. The Op read the rhyming Humpty Dumpty, and they all saw Humpty's picture, which looked like a think tank. The think tank speculated that the Earthlings had identified him and would soon kill him. Therefore, he told his team to move immediately from there and thus a dusty book of rhyme saved us from the Martian invasion.
