The Lake Isle of Innisfree Summary
In this poem 'I' refers to the poet William Yates who says that he wants to go to Infisree. There he will build for himself a small room with mud and small sticks which he will use to build the walls and fences of the cabin. In addition, he will need some food to eat while he is there. So, he will grow nine rows of beans near his cabin. Simultaneously, he would have a beehive to get fresh honey from the bee. Furthermore, the poet states that the open space, where he will make his room, will be filled with the buzzing sound of bees. There he will live in peace and peace.
In the second paragraph, the poet states that when in Insfree, he will feel at peace. And gradually he will feel peace as the feeling of peace is gradually felt. He also describes how he would feel at peace. When it is cloudy in the morning and the view of the sky will not be very clear, it will look as if the morning has worn a veil and is hidden. Also, watching this scene makes him feel at peace. Also, he says that when male cricket sings his song, that voice will also give him peace. At midnight, when he appears flickering in the night sky, his glow brings him peace. During the afternoon, when the sunlight gives a radiant glow, that also gives him peace. In the evening, when he sees the Lynette bird flying in the sky, he again feels at peace.
This paragraph, the poet says, will now take a stance and go to Insfree, because at this time, the noise of the lake's water repeats in his mind. Also, the sound of the lake attracts her towards the lake. Furthermore, whenever he stands on the side of the road or on gray-colored pavements, he hears a sound deep in the innermost part of his heart.
